Japanese Wrestling Star Hana Kimura Dead At 22

SAN FRANCISCO, May 22, (THEWILL) – Japanese wrestler, Hana Kimura, who appeared on the popular reality show, Terrace House, is dead. She was aged 22.

According to Japanese Wrestling Company, she died Saturday. The cause of her death remained unclear though there are speculations that she took her life as a result of cyber bullying on social media.

The company in its Twitter account wrote in English: “We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. We appreciate your support during this difficult time.”

Also, a statement on the Stardom website said: “Our company player Hana Kimura passed away today on May 23. We apologize for the sudden concern and sorrow for our fans and all concerned.

“Regarding the details, there are some parts that we have not yet grasped, so we will continue to cooperate with the investigation between the parties concerned. We deeply pray for Hana Kimura’s life.”
